I’m here to foster growth, encourage reflection, and cheer you on.
Lucy Gunter, MSW, LMHC
My Approach
My clients all have one thing in common: they want things to be different and are ready to do the work to build a better future. I have an eclectic, person-centered style that uses elements of psychodynamic theory and narrative therapy. In therapy, you can expect me to be fully present with you as you explore past experiences and break negative cycles. I’m here to witness you fully and help you see yourself. Through laughter and tears, I’m here to ride the wave with you.
My Specialties
Anxiety
Your mind is constantly racing. You’re exhausted and overwhelmed. Together, we can slow down and cultivate calmness.
Life Transitions
Change is hard. It can be dysregulating and spark uncomfortable thoughts and feelings. In our work together I can help you process transitions and find solid ground again.
Relationships
You feel out of sync with your partner. Perhaps you’re fighting too much or can’t seem to communicate effectively. Psycotherapy will improve your communication and connection with your partner.
